|Hurricane Relief - District 6200
|"How does one find good in the world with so much pain and suffering. The answer is not to try to find 'good' but to create it, by helping one person at a time. Let's go out and create something good today !!"
District 6200 has established a relief fund for the victims of the Hurricane Katrina to facilitate contributions from anyone interested in the relief efforts that our District will be doing throughout the Southern Gulf Region of the United States.
District 6200 Foundation Trustees are diligently working with our District Disaster Relief Committee in their efforts to help in anyway possible those who have been so severely affected by this natural disaster.
The disaster relief committee will work with local Rotary clubs, surrounding Rotary Districts, as well as emergency relief agencies. Initially, the committee will work to meet the most urgent needs and ultimately try to establish long term support through The Rotary Foundation in the form of Matching Grant projects.
Those wishing to make a donation of goods are asked to contact our General Secretary for shipping information or you may mail funds to our District Office.
