Message From District Governor
Richard S. Dunn, District 6200
We are greatly honored to welcome to our district the
distinguished Group Study Exchange Team from District 1520
in France. On behalf of all the Rotarians in District 6200, I
extend to you a warm Louisiana welcome.
Many of our citizens share a common heritage with you. In
1755, thousands of French Acadians, who were expelled from
Nova Scotia, relocated to our district. This is the home of
Tabasco, Mardi Gras, quaint little Cajun villages, medium-sized
cities, swampland, and most importantly, some of the tastiest
cooking you will ever experience.
We extend our best wishes to all of you, your distinguished
District Governor, Xavier Carette, and his lovely wife, Sylvie-
Anne, and to all of those wonderful Rotarians in your district.
